SALT's Environmental, Social and Governance (ESG) Efforts

SALT Dental Collective is committed to supporting and giving back to the communities we practice in. Each year, our offices sponsor, support, and participate in hundreds of community events that directly impact the welfare of children.

Local Organizations

  • Sanctuary One at Double Oak Farm (Jacksonville, OR) - At Sanctuary One, people of all ages have the opportunity to volunteer on a real working farm and experience nature’s healing power firsthand.
  • Beyond the Pink (Spokane, WA) - Beyond Pink has raised more than $1.7 million for women throughout the Spokane Valley to assist them with paying for their thermograms – a temperature-specific diagnostic imaging technique used to detect breast cancer.

Community Events

  • Pear Blossom Parade & Festival (Medford, OR) - The Pear Blossom Festival is a pillar in our community emphasizing family values, commitment and pride in our Rogue Valley. Scholarships for area high school senior girls have been a hallmark of the Festival Association since 1991.
  • Boatnik Festival (Grants Pass, OR) - Boatnik is an annual festival held in Riverside Park in Grants Pass, Oregon over Memorial Day Weekend for more than 60 years featuring activities including the Davis Shows Carnival, concert, and Boatnik Brewfest.
  • Maple Valley Days (Maple Valley, WA) - In 1950, a group of citizens gathered at Gaffney’s Lake Wilderness Lodge to celebrate and raise funds in order to purchase the area’s first fire engine. Today, the festival includes events, activities, carnival rides, and more than 10,000 visitors!
  • Salmon Days Festival (Issaquah, WA) - This festival celebrates the return of the salmon. The main features of the event is a parade, live music, and a market for artisans and food. The event celebrates the end of the salmon run, where salmon return to their birth river to lay eggs.
  • Corvallis Knights Science, Engineering & Art Days (Corvallis, OR) - The Corvallis Knights have partnered with OSU Colleges of Science and Engineering to deliver an entertaining, engaging and interactive experience for students of all ages. 15+ with exhibits outside and inside OSU’s Goss Stadium.
  • Reardan Mule Days (Spokane, WA) - Continually a celebration of community unity and fellowship, Mule Days is an important fundraiser for improvement, facilities and organizations within the town.
  • The Saint Alphonsus Capitol Classic Race (Boise, ID) - Proceeds from this event will benefit the YMCA’s Thrive (Together Helping Realize Inclusive Victories Everyday) program which offers a safe center and caring staff for children and young adults who are neurodiverse.
  • Run With Grace 5k (Medford, OR) - This is great as it focuses on teaching students healthy coping mechanisms and the importance of kindness and suicide prevention!

In-Office Initiatives

  • Candy Buy-Back - every Halloween we 'sweeten' the deal by offering to buy you kids' candy! For every pound of candy brought in we will give $1. Candy is then donated to local non-profits and charities.
  • My Teacher Rocks - do you know a teacher that makes a huge difference for students and the community? Let us know and we could feature them during 'My Teacher Rocks'!
